This study investigates gender - based differences in psychological restoration in urban green environments by integrating computer vision analysis, eye-tracking experiments, and restoration scale assessment. A composite model incorporating color feature extraction, semantic segmentation, and depth prediction was used to quantify landscape perception. Eye-tracking metrics were then correlated with subjective restoration scores to analyze gender variations in visual attention and restorative outcomes. The findings reveal significant gender disparities: men exhibit broader spatial scanning and more frequent shifts in visual focus, whereas women demonstrate greater attention to specific visual cues and longer fixation durations. Natural elements such as water and shrubs contribute positively to psychological recovery - especially for women - while artificial features like buildings and pavements increase cognitive load. Furthermore, open spaces and simple color palettes were found to enhance women’s restorative experiences. These results underscore the need for gender-sensitive approaches in urban landscape design to optimize green spaces for psychological health and well-being.
