具有少数民族特色的传统聚落在更新保护的过程中，往往会遇到产权复杂和经济、规划政策、产权制度的限制等诸多问题，如果照搬已有经验将可能对其产生不可逆转的伤害。以广西壮寨——鼓鸣寨为例，把旅游型传统聚落定为研究对象，引入“自主更新”的概念，从设计的角度探讨该模式运用于少数民族传统聚落的保护策略和更新过程，提出了一种既适应聚落发展要求又有利于村落保护的更新模式。 - 关键词：
鼓鸣寨；少数民族；传统聚落；自主更新；社区营造； - Abstract: The issue of the preservation for traditional settlements of national minorities is usually complicated because of several problems, such as the limitations of economy, policy and ownership. As a result, it would be critical to find a special theory to guide the preservation of this kind of traditional settlements to avoid irreversible harm. On basis of regional characteristics of the traditional settlement, this essay explains the application for self-renewal pattern in traditional settlement preservation in theoretical and practical way, by the case of a Zhuang village named Gumingzhai in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southwest China. The contents for self-renewal pattern have two aspects: one is high-involvement and the other is community empowerment.
